Meet Your Guide
Hi, I’m a first generation Taiwanese American who loves food and travel, as well as tennis, skiing, freediving, and photography. I speak both English and Mandarin fluently, and these days I’m based in Taiwan with my wife (though we make regular trips to California). When I’m not traveling, I’m a visual artist specialize in retail and packaging design. After years of designing for others, I finally decided to create my very own brand that not only looks good but also means something. That’s how WanderBoo came to life.
My Travel Style
I’m what you might call an “average Joe” traveler. I enjoy a touch of luxury but like to stay mindful of my budget. Comfort, cleanliness, and privacy are important to me, and I’m happy to splurge on experiences that are worth it. I always travel with my wife, and we look for flights and accommodations that offer the best value. When it comes to food, the budget often takes a back seat. We love seeking out the best meals each country has to offer. It’s one of my ultimate pleasures in life, and my wife shares that passion with me.
I share all my experiences on WanderBoo so you can see what worked for us and get practical tips for your own trips. Given my travel style, you can expect recommendations that are comfortable and enjoyable, but not over-the-top — just the right balance to make every penny count and every moment memorable.

Why WanderBoo?
I was born an introvert, and creating WanderBoo is a way for me to express myself. Boo is my nickname while the mascot is a Formosan black bear of Taiwan, they represent who I am and where I come from. WanderBoo is playful, approachable, and adventurous, the same way I hope this blog feels for you.
