Whenever visiting a new country, the first thing most people do is scroll through all the day tours online to figure out which ones are actually worth it. Fiji is no different. There are so many tours with similar names and the same islands keep popping up, making it tricky to tell them apart. That’s where WanderBoo comes in. I’ve put together a list of the Best Day Tours in Fiji, with my honest ratings, pros and cons, and real photos I took on each tour so you can see exactly what to expect.

Cruisin Fiji Authentic Fijian Day Cruise
4.0/5.0
Cruisin Fiji offers exclusive access to Monuriki Island, the famous Cast Away filming location. This full-day tour includes snorkeling at nearby islands, lunch on Monuriki, and time to explore the island’s thriving reefs and marine life.

South Sea Cruises Ultimate Encounters: Snorkel With Sharks
5.0/5.0
Swimming with sharks is one of Fiji’s most thrilling experiences. This tour takes you to Kuata Island to snorkel with reef sharks in shallow, crystal-clear water. It’s one of the pricier day tours in Fiji, but the chance to see these incredible creatures up close in their natural habitat makes it worth every dollar.

Whales Tale Cruise Mamanuca Islands All-Inclusive Sailing Cruise
3.5/5.0
The Whales Tale Cruise, a legendary tour since 1984, remains one of Fiji’s most popular cruises. It takes you to Schooner Island, a private, uninhabited island accessible only to Whales Tale guests. Many travelers debate between this cruise and Captain Cook Cruises, but after comparing both and reading numerous reviews, we chose Whales Tale and were not disappointed.

Malamala Beach Club
3.0/5.0
Malamala Beach Club is the world’s first island beach club and one of Fiji’s most popular destinations. Located on one of the Mamanuca Islands, it’s just a 30-minute boat ride from the port, making it very easy to access for travelers. For this tour, we booked with South Sea Cruises and chose a half-day pass, which I highly recommend, especially since it was the last day of our Fijian trip and we didn’t want to rush through check-out.

Cloud 9
2.0/5.0
Cloud 9 is a unique floating bar and pizzeria located in the middle of the South Pacific, offering one of the most unforgettable experiences in Fiji. Accessible by a short boat ride from the Mamanuca Islands, it’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy tropical cocktails, and soak up the sun on its decks or in the water trampolines. With stunning 360-degree ocean views, live music, and a lively atmosphere, Cloud 9 combines the best of island vibes, great food, and fun activities all in one.
While Cloud 9 looks perfect on paper, I found it a bit boring overall. There’s nothing to see while snorkeling around the boat, and both the pizza and cocktails were mediocre and overpriced. The only fun activity was jumping off the upper deck. I would say save this money and just enjoy the amenities at your resort.
